Director, Project Management

仕事内容

The Director, Program Management is responsible for managing one or more highly complex and/or high-profile project and/or cross project teams.

・Works in partnership with project leads to develop, gain approval, and execute on the project strategy and to ensure the timely achievement of deliverables by the team.
・Co-chairs timely, efficient, and action-oriented Japan Development Team (JDT) meetings and is responsible for coordinating highly complex team operations and communications between JDTs and Global Development Teams (GDTs).
・Participates in working groups within the Project Management department to establish best practices, resolve highly complex operational issues or improve department processes.
・Participates in Japan Development Leadership Team (JDLT) to represent Global Program Management.
・Future responsibilities may include recruiting and supervising other Japan -based project managers.

求める経験

・Typically requires a BA or BS degree and minimum 12 years of relevant experience, which includes 10 years as a project manager and/or pharmaceutical line manager and/or pharmaceutical functional area scientist
or
　a MS or MBA and minimal 10 years of relevant experience. A PhD in a scientific field or a PharmD, DVM or MD degree and minimum 6 years of relevant experience is desirable.
※Experience should include participation in cross-functional project management activities.
・Line management supervisory experience is required.
